Book 9: SOFTENING THE THREAT FOR THE KILLER PUNCH

Through the employment of the Combined Arms Operations during the Marawi crisis, the Philippine Army was able to maximize and deliver an overwhelming combat power against the enemies that led to the demise not only of the leaders of the terrorist group but most importantly, to the cessation of declaring Mindanao as the Wilayat (province) of ISIS in Asia. With the help of the Field Artillery of the Philippine Army and other indirect fre assets provided the necessary indirect fire support and direct fire on some occasions , which enabled the army to advance, maneuver, and neutralize enemy forces.
