Operations Research Center Philippine Army Conducts Marawi Study Tour

In the first week of December 2017, a study group went to Marawi to visit the site where the battle happened to visualize and translate into experience.

They also gathered the needed data for their respective topics by focus group discussions, interviewing the persons knowledgeable and involved in the battle of Marawi.

The study tour was a memorable experience for the study group as they experienced Marawi first hand and they saw the devastation brought by the war.

The exposure in Marawi was also very helpful for the researchers because they were given the privilege to talk to the people who were part of the battle of Marawi, shared their piece of their story, which could add more substance to the books the study group is writing.
